Kyle McLaughlin has 20 years of experience in construction and Real Estate and holds a Class A Unlimited Contractors License as well as a Virginia Real Estate Brokers License. Graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University he has a unique take on urban development. Kyle has completed many infill developments that the larger developers did not see the value in. Starting with construction as a kid in high school toting shingles and sweeping floors he has a true understanding of what it takes to complete projects. Kyle has worked with buyers of large commercial properties as well as developed and built large scale projects. When not working on unique Real Estate projects Kyle has a 50 ton Coast Guard Captains license and enjoys long distance cruising and living off the grid.

 Barney McLaughlin is a Real Estate Broker and a Class A Contractor with McBar. He moved to the Chester area in 1978, after living in the Tidewater area. A graduate of Tabb High School in Tabb, VA, he attended the Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary, where he received a scholarship in his second year and also was named to the Dean's List. Interested in construction and real estate at an early age, McLaughlin started in carpentry at 16 and received his real estate license at 20. Since founding McBar in 1986, he has built and remodeled  residential, commercial and multi-family properties in  North Carolina and Virginia. His love of aviation has earned him his Instrument, Commercial Multi engine, Seaplane and Instructors rating. If not flying you'll likely see him on the waters of NC Crystal Coast.  A respected member of the business community, McLaughlin's knowledge and expertise in construction and real estate serve to enhance the services that McBar Group offers its customers.
